Hi Joyce. If you are looking at a frozen drink maker for your home, I'm afraid I'm only aware of units that use crushed ice or ice cubes to make them. The larger commercial units are typically where you'll find the products that work with just water and mix. Though these types can run $1,000 - $2,000 plus. If you are looking for something for a one time occasion like a party - you could also consider renting a frozen drink machine as well.

I want the kind of frozen drink maker that freezes soft drinks like Slurpees or Icees. I don't want the kind that you add ice to and it merely crushes ice. Where can I find that kind and what should I be looking for to avoid ice crushers?
